Everardo Mingo came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Ilmi Duka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from 任延军 in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Ac Milan's attentive 任延军 managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Ac Milan's Maciej Kowalski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Maciej Kowalski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Maciej Kowalski took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Maciej Kowalski struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ac Milan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of play forced Ac Milan's goalkeeper Everardo Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maciej Kowalski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everardo Mingo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Everardo Mingo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 63 minutes into the game, Maciej Kowalski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maciej Kowalski took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After 75 minutes, Maciej Kowalski made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 77 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Maciej Kowalski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ac Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ac Milan's 任延军.
