Emanuel Ocampo made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sebastian Villa. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flávio Tinoco to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
