With an extended leg and a bit of luck 胡坚战 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Henrik Henriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Battal Seyyit Asır in the 19th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Polakowski to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Henriksson in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Filip Soetemans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Henrik Henriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 83rd minute Henrik Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with 胡坚战 in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Henriksson in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Fenerbahce ISTANBUL got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Rau. The Fenerbahce ISTANBUL players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
