Guldhedstornet BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Lövgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tobias Lövgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Seide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bukkus Bonk in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Tobias Lövgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Tobias Lövgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes Guldhedstornet BK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Byström. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ivan Västlund charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Västlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haiti booed when Guldhedstornet BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Västlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Ernso Constant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfons Myr skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute, Bukkus Bonk made a precise shot to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
