Zero Hedge's Åke Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Wallander having to interfere. Wiktor Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Åke Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Åke Janssons short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Åke Jansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Åke Jansson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 57thth minute of the game Gottfrid Stenman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickard Viberg during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zero Hedge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Jansson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Åke Jansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Jansson in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zero Hedge's Hans Nordström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Wallander having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wiktor Wallander made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 94thth minute of the game Åke Jansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
