With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Rivero saved DOROSTOL Ss from getting behind. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Veiga in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toshko Strezov in the 16th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Veiga came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Rivero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velichko Petzev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half DOROSTOL Ss were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Leopoldo Rivero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, DOROSTOL Ss's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Teixeira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erasmo Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valko Chochkov during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valko Chochkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolas Teixeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 92 minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DOROSTOL Ss walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
