The corner ended in Xavier Figueroa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aragorn's Andrés Casado did a great save. The audience was convinced that Elian Müller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Elian Müller sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elian Müller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Moretti in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Andrés Casado made a huge save. Aragorn's Topo Lino was substituted for Altuğ Yakup. In the 72nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. Andrés Casado made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrés Casado having to make a save. Andrés Casado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes Aragorn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Topo Lino took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 94 minutes into the match, Aragorn's goalkeeper Andrés Casado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa.
