In the 58th minute of the match Peru got a corner. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Joaquin Prats was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kiran Tomasini in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kiran Tomasini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Lang in the 62nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Kiran Tomasini made a huge save. Howard Archambault hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, THE ROKERY PIMKIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Archambault to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in THE ROKERY PIMKIS's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiran Tomasini came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Howard Archambault made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Neil Dussling however managed to control. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Luna in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Mino came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Luz Tejedor hit a great ball. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo.
