With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Sarmiento in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boleslaw Tyski saved FC. UPIORNI from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boleslaw Tyski was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 10 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boleslaw Tyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Tyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boleslaw Tyski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Boleslaw Tyski. FC. UPIORNI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 24th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Panama were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Boleslaw Tyski was a little too slow when Isidoro Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-3. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boleslaw Tyski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. After 64 played minutes FC. UPIORNI got a freekick which was hit by Bäliyar Vermäzov. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. FC. UPIORNI's Olgierd Ratulowski was substituted for Leonard Kluska. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Olgierd Ratulowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC. UPIORNI's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boleslaw Tyski came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Boleslaw Tyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Edgar Pliszka in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Panama's Tomas Berganza. Bäliyar Vermäzov took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Ratulowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC. UPIORNI.
