After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Pedro Indiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Panait Hațegan quite easily take care of the ball. Mădălin Cangeopol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Pliego came out and tried to block the shot, but Mădălin Cangeopol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Marlon Brando in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Felix Garrido. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alper Benli in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 77th match minute, Tractorul Satulung -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense.
