Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robrecht Van Geestel started the match with the kick off. Arne Kest made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Robrecht Van Geestel came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jarne Desmet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Robrecht Van Geestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarne Desmet in the 28th minute of the match. Arne Kest came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Abram Luque. But to his dismay, Abram Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Abram Luque fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Abram Luque a yellow card for diving instead. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Robrecht Van Geestel came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Abram Luque took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Arne Kest to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Café DE PLOEG's Arne Kest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Café DE PLOEG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kieth Engelbert to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arne Kest came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Salvador reached it. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Kest read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Kieth Engelbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Kieth Engelbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. If Mateo Leguizamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arne Kest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jarne Desmet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Salvador's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
