With his leg Rolando Noboa managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when VN Keleler's Doychin Konsulov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Velimir Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When VN Keleler's Hakkı Kenan Pınar, in the 56th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for VN Keleler. Antonio Tenorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Velimir Popchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
