Boleslaw Zbytniewski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Felix Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After 48 played minutes ASTRONAUCI got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Sikola. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Zbytniewski in the 52nd minute of play. Boleslaw Zbytniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ASTRONAUCI's Grzegorz Skarpiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Luis Andino took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Grzegorz Skarpiak to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, ASTRONAUCI's Grzegorz Skarpiak got control of the ball when Luis Andino tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Boleslaw Zbytniewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafal Sikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Sikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, ASTRONAUCI's Boleslaw Zbytniewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rafal Sikola came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the ASTRONAUCI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafal Sikola couldn't finish the play. Grzegorz Skarpiak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Skarpiak made a huge save.
