Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gil Talavera started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Folke Smitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th match minute, FC Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Jarl Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 28th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Bredberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 29th minute of play forced FC Blåvitt's goalkeeper Jarl Bredberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. FC Blåvitt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Blåvitt's Jarl Bredberg did a great save. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Blåvitt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gil Talavera in the 33rd minute. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jarl Bredberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Andy Robertsson, made in the 51st minute of the game. Jarl Bredberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 54th minute. Andy Robertsson scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andy Robertsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Cadaval in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarl Bredberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jarl Bredberg made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gil Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Blåvitt's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Talavera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Blåvitt's Mikael Bergstedt got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Jarl Bredberg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarl Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 83rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Bergstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
