With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Average Joes's Arthur Saba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victoriano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ganix Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Saba in the 13th minute of play. Nils-Emil Gulliksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Zé Roberto Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Average Joes and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Saba in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 21 minutes, Arthur Saba made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arthur Saba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Rolandsson. The audience was convinced that Arthur Saba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Average Joes's Arthur Saba. But to his dismay, Arthur Saba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yavuz Bülent Özger hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Victoriano Abel made a huge save. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Arthur Saba sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Average Joes's Mattias Finnman was substituted for Jo Blanchaert. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Saba in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Average Joes made a substitution. Jeremias Silban replaced Per Rolandsson. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Average Joes's Arthur Saba. But to his dismay, Arthur Saba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Saba in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Saba in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Saba in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Average Joes could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
