Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. In the 5th match minute, PALLINI RULES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Petersson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Alexander Carballo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marinos Tsounis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Marinos Tsounis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of PALLINI RULES booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Menelaos Karatsolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Andreas Kontodimos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALLINI RULES and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costa Rica made a substitution. Alfredo Zoido replaced Lautaro Puig. In the 38th match minute, PALLINI RULES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Kontodimos to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredo Zoido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Lefteris Anagnostakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marinos Tsounis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marinos Tsounis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Menelaos Karatsolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Zoido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marinos Tsounis having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lefteris Anagnostakis in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marinos Tsounis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, PALLINI RULES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter-Jan Maenhout to maneuver through the defense. Marinos Tsounis made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alfredo Zoido sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Menelaos Karatsolis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PALLINI RULES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Menelaos Karatsolis's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Manfred Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PALLINI RULES's zone, Alfredo Zoido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marinos Tsounis came out of the goal and Alfredo Zoido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PALLINI RULES's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
