Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lauro da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 minutes União São José FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Honduras's Milagros Cabal to fire away a dangerous shot which Lauro da Silveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lauro da Silveira. União São José FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Glauco Botelho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind União São José FC's goalkeeper Lauro da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 33 played minutes União São José FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Andrade. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lauro da Silveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute, Júlio Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauro da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gernando Félix to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Moises Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lauro da Silveira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lauro da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Lauro da Silveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Nóbrega in the 63rd minute of play. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 66th minute. It was a well-played corner which Christian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 70th play minute Edmundo Espiga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lauro da Silveira. 1-2. Edmundo Espiga in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lauro da Silveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lauro da Silveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Lauro da Silveira managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lauro da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União São José FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Mateus Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Honduras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
