Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Mihály Gera made a huge save. Mihály Gera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Mihály Gera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute of the match. Bálint Sándor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Mihály Gera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Szentgotthárd's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihály Gera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Márton Fehér hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to Szentgotthárd getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Benjámin Zádori hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihály Gera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Honduras had played much better football throughout.
