Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Sidro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Santos Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sacronas Futbol Club:s goal. In the 41st minute, Gilberto Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 45th minute. Sacronas Futbol Club's Santos Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Santos Sidro in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sacronas Futbol Club's Santos Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Denis Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abram Secadas short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Santos Sidro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sacronas Futbol Club from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
