In the 8th minute Dominik Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Zajac having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Resel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Walczak's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Marcin Resel struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gruszowiec. Bernard Zajac was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play forced Gruszowiec's goalkeeper Bernard Zajac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Zajac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcin Resel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Walczak went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Dominik Walczak came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Gruszowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Walczak couldn't finish the play. Zachary Zawadzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 47 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gruszowiec the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Zajac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. If Marcin Resel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Marcin Resel could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Zajac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bernard Zajac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Zachary Zawadzki struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gruszowiec. 79 minutes into the match, Gruszowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Bernard Zajac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Zajac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Gruszowiec's Dominik Walczak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ksawery Polkoski sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Venezuela were victorious despite being under pressure from Gruszowiec for much of the match.
