When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Péter Temesvári was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Péter Temesvári showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Péter Temesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kornél Udvarhelyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Kornél Udvarhelyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Temesvári saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Szittyák SE rege's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Temesvári came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dávid Fenyvesi made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Endre Zentay kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Péter Temesvári made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Vendel Bács stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Vendel Bács tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Szittyák SE rege's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Péter Temesvári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to a score. 0-3 in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Péter Temesvári. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Péter Temesvári made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Szittyák SE rege was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mátyás Vadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Szittyák SE rege's Péter Temesvári got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Péter Temesvári. Péter Temesvári dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 91st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Szittyák SE rege throughout the match.
