The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Naujasodis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Stanislaw Klawki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legia Warszawa SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislaw Klawki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Klawki in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th play minute Waldemar Naujasodis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Naujasodis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Waldemar Naujasodis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legia Warszawa SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Legia Warszawa SA's Alve Søderholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alve Søderholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 30th minute, Stanislaw Klawki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Waldemar Naujasodis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Alve Søderholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alberto Marcovecchio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Naujasodis in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Waldemar Naujasodis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Marcovecchio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute of the match, Tomas Illescas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alve Søderholm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alve Søderholm made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Alberto Marcovecchio made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Herbert Piatek fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia Warszawa SA's protests and gave Herbert Piatek a yellow card for diving instead. Herbert Piatek kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alve Søderholm skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Legia Warszawa SA's Cesar Nafarroa tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Waldemar Naujasodis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Naujasodis in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Naujasodis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Stanislaw Klawki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Stanislaw Klawki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Marcovecchio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Naujasodis, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Legia Warszawa SA were the better team. Legia Warszawa SA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
