After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Igor Bojanowski came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Wladyslaw Setara came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Black Express's Boguslaw Witkowski in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 95th minute, Mieszko Olejniczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugeniusz Andryszyn kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
