Yıldırım Yaman came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Select Player's Giovani Sena. But to his dismay, Giovani Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Select Player booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğurcan Oğuzalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paulo Carneiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yıldırım Yaman. Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe defense, Giovani Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. The Fenerbahçe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yıldırım Yaman should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Select Player's Giovani Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yıldırım Yaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 14th minute, Hamilton Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yıldırım Yaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 19 minutes into the game, Selçuk Ülger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Yıldırım Yaman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute Aras Daman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Raúl de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yıldırım Yaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Giovani Sena scored 0-7 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yıldırım Yaman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Hamilton Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Select Player fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Yıldırım Yaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selçuk Ülger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Selçuk Ülger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yıldırım Yaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Yıldırım Yaman was a little too slow when Giovani Sena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-11. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Giovani Sena sped through Fenerbahçe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. Gazi Seralp kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Luís Paulo Carneiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yıldırım Yaman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tuncer İribaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jailson Antunes was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selçuk Ülger in the 67th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yıldırım Yaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl de Queiroz in the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Hamilton Ramos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yıldırım Yaman. The goal made the score 0-14. Yıldırım Yaman was a little too slow when Hamilton Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-15. Selçuk Ülger took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yıldırım Yaman. Yıldırım Yaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. Yıldırım Yaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamilton Ramos in the 86th minute. Hamilton Ramos took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yıldırım Yaman. Yıldırım Yaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-17. Hamilton Ramos took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yıldırım Yaman.
