Gonzalo Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Muzzolon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Punishment's Gonzalo Berdaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Muzzolon in the 62nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Punishment got a freekick which was hit by Charalambos Pallini. 79 minutes into the game, Fulvio Grande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gonzalo Berdaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Punishment defense, Dave Pierucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Berdaitz. The Punishment fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Berdaitz should have stopped the shot. Dave Pierucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gonzalo Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dave Pierucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dave Pierucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Berdaitz having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. S.S.C. NAPOLI had played much better football throughout.
