A well-hit corner resulted in Pauli Pogba heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pauli Pogba in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fang Hao Jing in the 16th minute of play forced Ponta da Praia FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Ponta da Praia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fang Hao Jing came free, but Gustavo Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ponta da Praia FC's Hermínio Gerber got a free kick in the 40th minute. Gustavo Vides came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by The Glorious FC's Feliks Škarpa. But to his dismay, Feliks Škarpa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 46th minute Fang Hao Jing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Hermínio Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponta da Praia FC and the The Glorious FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ponta da Praia FC's Hermínio Gerber got a free kick in the 47th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Vivaldo Carioca could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Gustavo Vides however easily saved by the left post. The Glorious FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fang Hao Jing in the 96th minute. The Glorious FC's Fang Hao Jing was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Vides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
