The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Konstanty Prosowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. 2kC Poznań's Marek Buczko quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Gieraltowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulryk Merski in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Berdaitz saved Punishment from getting behind. Gonzalo Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Merski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tytus Dylla kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Klement Gieraltowski got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tadeusz Rutkowski was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punishment's goalkeeper Gonzalo Berdaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Ulryk Merski rounded Punishment's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. With a little luck, Punishment's Gonzalo Berdaitz got control of the ball when Ulryk Merski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomualdo Sauca in the 27th minute of play. The throw-in from Konstanty Prosowski in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 2kC Poznań's Marek Buczko. Gonzalo Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomualdo Sauca in the 30th minute of play forced 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Nowacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Emil Bartocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Tomualdo Sauca came free, but Tadeusz Rutkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match Punishment got a corner. 2kC Poznań's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Klement Gieraltowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Punishment's Klement Gieraltowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Tadeusz Rutkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Janusz Pusiak made the kick off in the second half. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Gieraltowski in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Nowacki in the 53rd minute of play forced 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Punishment defense, Janusz Pusiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Berdaitz. The Punishment fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Berdaitz should have stopped the shot. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Lucjan Sokol replaced Ulryk Merski. 70 minutes into the match, Janusz Pusiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Berdaitz. Punishment's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Janusz Pusiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Klement Gieraltowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Klement Gieraltowski made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski. 2kC Poznań's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Punishment's Gonzalo Berdaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Pusiak in the 90th minute of play. Janusz Pusiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Berdaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Lucjan Sokol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol got a free kick in the 94th minute. Punishment's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because 2kC Poznań had won, even though Punishment had held more of the ball.
