In the 10th minute, Vahdet Özakay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 67Karadeniz Ereğli F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Manoel Zanette's late challenge caught a 67Karadeniz Ereğli F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manoel Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ponta da Praia FC's Manoel Zanette got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ponta da Praia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Tuncer İribaş notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ponta da Praia FC's Thomás Quirino. Thomás Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Atilla Barın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Wiliam Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Barın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, 67Karadeniz Ereğli F.C.'s İsmail Hakkı Erçivan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. In the 45th minute, Hermínio Gerber made a precise shot to the right of Atilla Barın. 67Karadeniz Ereğli F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Manoel Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

After 68 played minutes 67Karadeniz Ereğli F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vahdet Özakay. 69 minutes into the match, Ponta da Praia FC's Sydney Lopes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. İsmail Hakkı Erçivan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ponta da Praia FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hermínio Gerber hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Betão da Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atilla Barın. That made the score 5-4 in the 78 minute of play. Hermínio Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, 67Karadeniz Ereğli F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Evvah to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Ponta da Praia FC's Sydney Lopes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilla Barın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tuncer İribaş kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Vahdet Özakay hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Betão da Silva struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Atilla Barın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponta da Praia FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 67Karadeniz Ereğli F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ponta da Praia FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
