The audience was convinced that Hu Yao Nan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doni das Neves was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Finsberg in the 11th minute of play forced Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalkeeper Régis Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taci Özerman was slow to take the kick. During this time Toni Kroos MGZ™'s players had a chance to rest. Hu Yao Nan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doni das Neves having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Yao Nan in the 43rd minute of play forced TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalkeeper Doni das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Régis Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Pogea in the 44th minute of play. Hu Yao Nan took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni das Neves. Doni das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 56 played minutes, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Gilbert Pochorylo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Régis Leite came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TEIXEIRINHA FC reached it. Doni das Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hu Yao Nan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. Hu Yao Nan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Doni das Neves made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Felice Garibaldi got a free kick in the 87th minute. Hu Yao Nan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of TEIXEIRINHA FC booed when Toni Kroos MGZ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Toni Kroos MGZ™ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as TEIXEIRINHA FC had held the ball for most of the match.
