Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Gerber in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaan Winter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmílson Travassos made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hermínio Quirino however managed to control. STORM CORNER F.C.'s attentive Krisztián Lisztes managed to snatch the ball when Manoel Zanette made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Ponta da Praia FC's Maurinho Garcia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by James Carana, made in the 29th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Stellan Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ede Szász got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Travassos to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Gustavo Vides threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Krisztián Lisztes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 60 played minutes Ponta da Praia FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Gerber. In the 67th minute of the game Edmílson Travassos made a throw-in which Hermínio Gerber played forward. Ede Szász might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Vides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ede Szász ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Ponta da Praia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Szász came free, but Gustavo Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Ede Szász ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gustavo Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ede Szász in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Ede Szász who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Edmílson Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponta da Praia FC's protests and gave Edmílson Travassos a yellow card for diving instead.
