The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gonzalo Berdaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Tytus Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Berdaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Ulryk Merski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Berdaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Punishment were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after 2kC Poznań's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Klement Gieraltowski took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Konstanty Nowacki to score against Tadeusz Rutkowski in 2kC Poznań's goal. 1-0 after 18 minutes. In the 23rd minute, Konstanty Prosowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes Punishment's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulryk Merski who took care of the corner kick. Edgar Turak made a great header on 2kC Poznań's corner, it was just that Punishment's Gonzalo Berdaitz managed to reach the ball for a save. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Gieraltowski in the 27th minute of play. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomualdo Sauca in the 29th minute of the match. Gonzalo Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Pusiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomualdo Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Gieraltowski in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Veijo Väätäinen. In the 41st minute, Konstanty Prosowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klement Gieraltowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Tadeusz Rutkowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Tomualdo Sauca kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tadeusz Rutkowski came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Punishment's Klement Gieraltowski. But to his dismay, Klement Gieraltowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gonzalo Berdaitz made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lucjan Sokol sent off a good shot on target. Gonzalo Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 73rd minute of the match. When Lucjan Sokol fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2kC Poznań's protests and gave Lucjan Sokol a yellow card for diving instead. Lucjan Sokol hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Lucjan Sokol took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Berdaitz. Gonzalo Berdaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Gonzalo Berdaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucjan Sokol in the 80th minute. Gonzalo Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Zaworski. After a rather tough play, Punishment's Janusz Pleban got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes in the game, Janusz Pusiak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gonzalo Berdaitz having to interfere. Janusz Pusiak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonzalo Berdaitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Janusz Pusiak slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the 2kC Poznań players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Punishment.
