The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Pusiak in the 61st minute of play forced Chacabuco FC's goalkeeper Elvio Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janusz Pusiak took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Llorienzo. Elvio Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 2kC Poznań's Zbigniew Zaworski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teobaldo Gartxot in the 70 minute of the game. Janusz Pusiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Llorienzo having to make a save. With a little luck, Chacabuco FC's Elvio Llorienzo got control of the ball when Janusz Pusiak tried to sneak it across the goal line.
