A sloppy throw-in by Otávio Dracena in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C. A. BELGRANO's Mario Pacho. Mario Pacho's late challenge caught a LUPO f.c's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Pacho helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alfonso Festa made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jens Van Dessel sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Eladio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Yashin having to make a save. Lev Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Eladio's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Gustavo Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Eladio in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, LUPO f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Eladio came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Eladio's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Lauaxeta during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rigoberto Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Prejun got free with Alfonso Festa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Festa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Van Dessel in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as LUPO f.c's Haarald Sauna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfonso Festa. That made the score 1-0 after 38 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens Van Dessel was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute C. A. BELGRANO were awarded a corner. Gustavo Eladio went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Gustavo Eladio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gustavo Eladio came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lev Yashin could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Eladio in the 63rd minute of play forced LUPO f.c's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's Gustavo Eladio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lev Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Onur Ali Cespan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Onur Ali Cespan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lev Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes LUPO f.c got a freekick which was hit by Jens Van Dessel. In the 92nd minute, Zeledon Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Onur Ali Cespan managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. BELGRANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Onur Ali Cespan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The C. A. BELGRANO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
