Wilfredo Uxio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Festa. C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, Anibal Lluques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Q. T. I. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Q. T. I.'s Wilfredo Uxio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Festa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 24 minutes, Anibal Lluques made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. C. A. BELGRANO's Alfonso Festa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Eladio came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alfonso Festa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Raymundo in the 36th minute of the match. If Anibal Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alfonso Festa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Victor Fero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. BELGRANO and the Q. T. I. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Q. T. I.'s Casimiro Guillelmus was substituted for Justo Florian. A collision led to C. A. BELGRANO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Victor Fero hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Eladio to make the kick off. C. A. BELGRANO's Alfonso Festa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 51st minute of play. With his leg Alfonso Festa managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Q. T. I.'s Julian Raymundo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfonso Festa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anibal Lluques showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. Gustavo Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Raymundos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Alfonso Festa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. BELGRANO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Nuno who took care of the corner kick. Victor Fero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Txatxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
