But to his dismay, Haarald Sauna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Victorino Sandalio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LUPO f.c's Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Pastor Ado sent off a good shot on target. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haarald Sauna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match, Victorino Sandalio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lev Yashin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After taking down the ball on Errecaborda AFC's corner Isidro Gines fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lev Yashin quite easily take care of the ball. LUPO f.c's Jens Van Dessel got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, LUPO f.c's Dalmacio Ramirez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Pastor Ado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Lev Yashin made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Sandalio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Sandalio in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lev Yashin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 55th minute of the match. LUPO f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Sandalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 63 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Theobald. LUPO f.c's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ado in the 66th minute of play. If Victorino Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens Van Dessel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Victorino Sandalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LUPO f.c's Lev Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lev Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Sandalio's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, LUPO f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Pastor Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Gines in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Haarald Sauna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 83rd minute of play. After 89 minutes, Isidro Gines made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. LUPO f.c's Lev Yashin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Errecaborda AFC's Hipolito Neron was substituted for Miguel Savion. The audience was convinced that Pastor Ado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Yashin was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, LUPO f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haarald Sauna to maneuver through the defense. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the LUPO f.c players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Errecaborda AFC.
