The throw-in from Maxim Fința in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C. A. BELGRANO's Sixto Kaiet. C. A. BELGRANO's Washington Santos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maxim Fința in the 8 minute of the game. Gustavo Eladio took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysmael Marfil. Ysmael Marfil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 19th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Fința to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, C. A. BELGRANO's Ysmael Marfil threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rigoberto Lauaxeta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute C. A. BELGRANO were awarded a corner. Gustavo Eladio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C. A. BELGRANO's Gustavo Eladio to fire away a dangerous shot which Ysmael Marfil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Gustavo Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Gustavo Eladio sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ysmael Marfil. In the 29th minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Gustavo Eladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysmael Marfil having to interfere. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Guib in the 55th minute of the match. Gustavo Eladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Marfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Eladio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Gustavo Eladio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ysmael Marfil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C. A. BELGRANO made a substitution. Aureliano Ovando replaced Gustavo Eladio. C. A. BELGRANO made a substitution. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Galindo in the 95th minute of play. Martin Rito made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Ryszard Borcz sent off a good shot on target. DINAMO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
