An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play forced Juventus F.C.'s goalkeeper Eugenio Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo De Toni in the 15th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Juventus F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Amos Di Mascio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Menendo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Carlo Montanari sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Carlo Montanari tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Carlo Montanari notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Carlo Montanari put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Montanari went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Menendo in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cristian Menendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cristian Menendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Juventus F.C.'s Carlo Montanari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0.

The Juventus F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 82nd minute Anfilogino Arpaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Benarrivo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juventus F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
