Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolas Kafkalas. 13 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's Nikolas Kafkalas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikolas Kafkalas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Nikolas Kafkalas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sérgio Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Neguțu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Nikolas Kafkalas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nae Hurmuzache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikolas Kafkalas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Julien Luarasi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Tincu. A hard shot 67 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Sérgio Vargas managed to make a qualified save. FC GURZUN's players were relieved. Sérgio Vargas stood somewhat misplaced when Cristian Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 67 minute. FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC GURZUN from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Cigu to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio Vargas quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hurmuzache in the 79th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC GURZUN's Matei Cozmâncă was substituted for Nikolas Kafkalas. FC GURZUN made a substitution. Angel Patrido replaced Mihnea Tincu. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC GURZUN succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
