Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Otsoa. Mauro Otsoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Mauro Otsoa in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Giordani came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Aspengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Giordani in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Mauro Otsoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Mauro Otsoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Otsoa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Otsoa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's Mauro Otsoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Mauro Otsoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vänge IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 35th minute, Vänge IF's Mauro Otsoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. 39 minutes into the match, Mauro Otsoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Otsoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 44th minute, one of Vänge IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vänge IF. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

Vänge IF made a substitution. Zoltán Tálas replaced Rune Aspengren. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro James to strike the kick off in the second half. When Markus Albäck came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Vänge IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Albäck couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Vänge IF's Lilo Stich got a free kick in the 61st minute. Lilo Stich hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Albäck came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Markus Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vänge IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Albäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes in the game Lilo Stich did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zoltán Tálas. Vänge IF's Lilo Stich quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 70th minute of the game. Markus Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Albäck came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, one of Vänge IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro James in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a defensive mix-up in Vänge IF's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Hernando came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vänge IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
