Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri De Rijck, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Dimitri De Rijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Yance Puspito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PS Gurame Bakar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fiz Artealde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of play. Fiz Artealde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Dimitri De Rijck struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PS Gurame Bakar. After a rather tough play, PS Gurame Bakar's Tomas Figueroa got a free kick in the 41st minute. Fiz Artealde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, PS Gurame Bakar's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Fiz Artealde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiz Artealde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Fiz Artealde successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri De Rijck in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, PS Gurame Bakar's Fiz Artealde got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fiz Artealde made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Fiz Artealde in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. PS Gurame Bakar's Yudi Nahumarury was substituted for Vito Mazza. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when PS Gurame Bakar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Kemper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fiz Artealde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fiz Artealde came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 83rd minute. Fiz Artealde made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fiz Artealde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Sebastián Puig got free with Fiz Artealde in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, PS Gurame Bakar's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fiz Artealde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Tono Ekodono notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
