After taking down the ball on KF Ballistet's corner Carlton Boothroyd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. Pepe Sarro came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pepe Sarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayezit Demiroğlu in the 25th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Sarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Godoy in the 32nd minute of the match.
