In the 7thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Enzo y Dino's Attilio Santucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uruguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alberigo Basile 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 17th minute Alberigo Basile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Enzo y Dino's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Attilio Santucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aldo Miccoli fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enzo y Dino's protests and gave Aldo Miccoli a yellow card for diving instead. Enzo y Dino:s Attilio Santucci showed great skill when he stopped Jaime Cazalla:s penalty. In the 22nd minute, Jaime Cazalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attilio Santucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eraldo Bertolini in the 32nd minute.
