The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Vânderson de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. REMO - FDFDF's Carmelo Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, REMO - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Carmelo Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Manoel Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REMO - FDFDF's Carmelo Michael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmelo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Carmelo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Garrido in the 24th minute of the match. Orlando Tafalla made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Axel Montenegro however managed to control. After 40 minutes, Axel Montenegro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. REMO - FDFDF's Carmelo Michael tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manoel Antunes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 43 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Manoel Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Vânderson de Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Manoel Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Mastache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Michael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
