Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Kapera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Scacchi in the 11th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Kapera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Herbert Kapera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Kapera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lucky Number Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herbert Kapera quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Kapera was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Kapera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Kapera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucky Number Team's Herbert Kapera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Herbert Kapera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Aurelio Burelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Attilio Orlandi made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Kapera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Attilio Orlandi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Attilio Orlandi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Attilio Orlandi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Kapera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Lucky Number Team made a substitution. Biagio Rosini replaced Armin Pari. Lucky Number Team's Filippo Monticelli was substituted for Aurelio Renzetti. 77 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herbert Kapera, 1-6. 81 minutes into the match, Lucky Number Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Herbert Kapera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Herbert Kapera made a huge save. Herbert Kapera came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Kapera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Biagio Rosini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Biagio Rosini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lucky Number Team's Herbert Kapera got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
