TUNGSTA's Leon Mayllar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced TUNGSTA's goalkeeper Leon Mayllar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Mayllar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jama Coyences's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Leon Mayllar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Mayllar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Olando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Mayllar. Leon Mayllar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vistruario Aguirol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, TUNGSTA's Leon Mayllar got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TUNGSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Bazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot TUNGSTA's keeper Leon Mayllar was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Jama Coyences fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Lucas Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUNGSTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Olando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Jama Coyences ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 72 minutes into the match, TUNGSTA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Leon Mayllar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TUNGSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Bazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jama Coyences, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Leon Mayllar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vistruario Aguirol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Mayllar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, TUNGSTA's goalkeeper Leon Mayllar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. TUNGSTA's Vela Cardeña was substituted for Telmo Bazquez. In the 91st minute, Hernan Hermosilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TUNGSTA's Leon Mayllar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Jama Coyences shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TUNGSTA throughout the match.
