Macos Graciani got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joel Gaona. The Śląsk Bytom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Miazga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Śląsk Bytom got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sivert Eliasson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The throw-in from Macos Graciani in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Śląsk Bytom's Teofil Chojnacki. In the 33rd minute, Fevzi Baykara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Fevzi Baykara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Garcia hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zawisza Obronny hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fevzi Baykara to strike the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Xavier Seco was substituted for Facundo Cadaval. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 98th minute of play.
