Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Romildo in the 10th minute of play. Kleopas Plouffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kleopas Plouffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gogo Elequemedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Romildo. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Gogo Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleopas Plouffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 35th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Kleopas Plouffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Gogo Elequemedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesar Romildo was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores de Mar de Ajó's players had a chance to rest. The throw-in from Inautzi Quesada in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. In the 85th minute, Santino Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kleopas Plouffe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kleopas Plouffe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
