Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teobald Szpakowski started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sosnowe Klimaty's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Cwynar came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Cwynar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Czeslaw Cwynar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Man in the 18th minute. Sosnowe Klimaty's Kryspin Cwynar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 24th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Sérgio Monteiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sérgio Monteiro really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Sérgio Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobald Szpakowski in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Teobald Szpakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Sérgio Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Sosnowe Klimaty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Teobald Szpakowski made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Patricio Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kryspin Cwynar. That made the score 5-1 after 57 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Teobald Szpakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 69th minute of the match Sérgio Monteiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Szpakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 74 played minutes Sosnowe Klimaty got a freekick which was hit by Al Grabski. Tomas Illescas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-3 to the left of a surprised Kryspin Cwynar 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Teobald Szpakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sosnowe Klimaty booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
