Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind PATURUZU's goalkeeper Domingos Nerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingos Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 7th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Nerio. PATURUZU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Jerano in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play forced PATURUZU's goalkeeper Domingos Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingos Nerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Uriel Eneko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Nerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PATURUZU's Domingos Nerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingos Nerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Basilio Francesco charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Francesco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PATURUZU getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Basilio Francesco hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Nerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Martino in the 35th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Nerio saved PATURUZU from getting behind. After 37 minutes, Guillermo Osmundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PATURUZU and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Osmundo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Martino came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! In the 49th minute of the match PATURUZU got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niceto Jerano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led PATURUZU's Niceto Jerano to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Eneko was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of PATURUZU booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Nerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute. Domingos Nerio was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-3. 62 minutes into the match, Niceto Jerano notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, PATURUZU's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Domingos Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to PATURUZU getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Guillermo Osmundo hit a great ball. Niceto Jerano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Osmundo got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to PATURUZU getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Guillermo Osmundo hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Jimeno Martino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PATURUZU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. PATURUZU's Tadeo Leheren was substituted for Uriel Eneko. Domingos Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macos Graciani in the 92nd minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Domingos Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PATURUZU throughout the match.
