The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Davies to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Atlético San Antonio getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Guilabertus Duque hit a great ball. If Ramond Chandeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Pestaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Curacao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético San Antonio were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Pestaña was the one to do the kick off. With splendid footwork Ramond Chandeiro arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 52nd minute. When Harvey Doyle fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Harvey Doyle a yellow card for diving instead. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Ramond Chandeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save. Marcos Pestaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Troy Kennedy hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Atlético San Antonio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. 94 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Pestaña came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Curacao booed when Atlético San Antonio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurgain Hompanera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Curacao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético San Antonio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
